How do you watch two programs at once with new Directv HD DVR?

How do you watch two programs at once with new Directv HD DVR? I used to be able to watch two programs at once with my old Directv DVR, without actually "recording" the program. If pressed the arrow down button and changed to another channel I just needed to press the arrow down button again to return to the previous channel which will have been recording. I could then switch between those two channels and use the DVR function for each. Is this possible to do with this new DVR?

March 25th, 2009 at 2:34 amyou can't WATCH two shows at once, however the only thing I can think of that would be close to what you're thinking of is to set both programs to record and switch between them (using the rewind button as necessary).
